Technology is a tool. Solving real business problems and creating long-term value is the goal.

WHO I AM

I’m Abdulrahman Nahhas.

My journey began with graphic design in 1997 and evolved into software development a year later. Since then, I’ve worked across manufacturing, media, education, government, and finance in multiple countries—each industry reinforcing the same belief: technology only matters when it creates real business outcomes.

Beyond writing software, I’ve designed enterprise systems, led technology departments, developed commercial products, and managed digital transformation initiatives—for more than a decade, remotely, leading distributed teams across cultures, languages, and time zones.

Today, I focus on building digital products that combine technology, business strategy, and user experience to solve real-world problems and create lasting value.

This website is the story of 29 years of learning, building, and evolving. It’s still being written.

Contix

AI-Native Content Intelligence for WordPress
Digital Product

Overview

Contix is an AI-native content intelligence system for WordPress that transforms content creation into a structured process of understanding, research, strategy, validation, optimization, and publishing.

Purpose

To help content teams make informed editorial and SEO decisions before generating or publishing content.

The Problem

Most AI writing tools begin by generating text. They do not fully understand the website, topic, search intent, audience, competitive landscape, authority requirements, internal content, or the strategic purpose of the article.

The Solution

Contix starts before writing. It analyzes the website and topic, researches opportunities, produces a research brief, builds a content strategy, validates SEO and GEO coverage, identifies content gaps, and then guides generation and optimization through a controlled workflow.

Key Features

  • Website and Builder Understanding
  • Project Management
  • Topic Management

Cardix

Flexible Digital Card Generation Platform
Digital Product

Overview

Cardix is a flexible card generation and delivery platform built for events, organizations, and personalized digital communication. It is not limited to fixed templates; it allows administrators to control the layout, content, generation workflow, and delivery of every card.

Purpose

To help organizations create and distribute personalized digital cards at scale without manually preparing every design or message.

The Problem

Event invitations, certificates, greeting cards, membership cards, and personalized campaign visuals are often created one by one. This process is slow, difficult to manage, and unsuitable for large recipient lists or recurring campaigns.

The Solution

Cardix combines flexible visual layouts with dynamic recipient data. Organizations can prepare a card design, connect variable information, generate personalized outputs, and deliver them through controlled digital workflows. Its official product page emphasizes that it is a flexible card-generation platform offering control over layout, content, and delivery rather than a simple template tool.

Key Features

  • Flexible Card Layouts
  • Personalized Recipient Data
  • Bulk Card Generation
  • Dynamic Content Fields
  • Event and Campaign Cards
  • Digital Invitations
  • Certificates and Membership Cards

Ticketix

Self-Hosted Support and Knowledge Platform
Digital Product

Overview

Ticketix is a modern self-hosted customer support platform that brings tickets, email communication, knowledge management, customer portals, automation, SLA tracking, search, and community collaboration into one system.

Purpose

To give organizations full ownership of their support operations, customer data, documentation, and communication workflows.

The Problem

Support teams commonly work across disconnected email inboxes, ticket systems, documentation tools, spreadsheets, and community platforms. This fragmentation makes conversations harder to follow, slows response times, and prevents organizations from building a unified knowledge base.

The Solution

Ticketix centralizes support communication in a self-hosted environment. Emails can become threaded tickets, customers can use a dedicated portal, agents can manage assignments and statuses, documentation is connected to support workflows, and automation and SLA rules provide operational control. The official product description positions Ticketix as a self-hosted system combining tickets, email workflows, knowledge management, automation, SLA tracking, and community collaboration.

Key Features

  • Ticket Management
  • Customer Support Portal
  • Agent Assignment
  • Manual Ticket Creation
  • Email-to-Ticket Processing

WordPress Content Duplication Toolkit
Digital Product

Overview

Clonex is a WordPress content productivity toolkit created to make duplicating, reusing, and preparing similar content faster and safer. It supports standard WordPress content as well as builder-based pages, helping users create working copies without rebuilding complex layouts manually.

Purpose

To eliminate repetitive content setup and provide a reliable cloning workflow for editors, developers, and agencies.

The Problem

Duplicating a page or post in WordPress is not always as simple as copying the title and body. Page builders, Gutenberg blocks, metadata, templates, and plugin-specific structures can be lost or copied incorrectly, forcing teams to rebuild content manually.

The Solution

Clonex creates structured copies while preserving the relevant content, metadata, and builder data. It is designed to be builder-aware and includes controlled workflows such as copy creation and similar-draft generation rather than relying on uncontrolled duplication.

Key Features

  • Post and Page Duplication
  • Gutenberg Block Preservation
  • Builder-Aware Cloning
  • Metadata Duplication
  • Similar Draft Creation
  • Controlled Naming
  • Draft-Based Workflow
  • Copy Conflict Prevention

Linkix

Advanced Link and QR Management
Digital Product

Overview

Linkix is a WordPress-based URL and QR management system built for structured link control, traffic analysis, and performance tracking. It goes beyond basic URL shortening by helping users organize links, manage redirects, generate QR codes, and understand how every link performs.

Purpose

To provide businesses with a central system for creating, organizing, tracking, and controlling every URL and QR code they use.

The Problem

Links are usually scattered across campaigns, websites, social media, printed materials, and external tools. Traditional short-link services offer limited ownership, fragmented analytics, and little control over redirect behavior or long-term URL management.

The Solution

Linkix keeps link management inside WordPress and gives users control over the entire link lifecycle: creation, categorization, redirection, QR generation, tracking, and analysis. The official product messaging describes Linkix as a link and QR management system built around performance, analytics, and full control—not merely a short-link generator.

Key Features

  • Central URL Management
  • Branded and Custom Links
  • Dynamic QR Code Generation
  • QR Code Regeneration
  • Redirect Management
  • Internal and External Redirects
  • Click and Traffic Analytics

Intelligent WordPress Image Optimization
Digital Product

Overview

WebPix is a WordPress image optimization and delivery system designed to improve performance without unnecessarily processing the entire media library. It analyzes existing media, converts images when needed, and gives site owners greater control over how optimized assets are created, stored, and delivered.

Purpose

To make image optimization more controlled, transparent, and efficient for WordPress websites with small or large media libraries.

The Problem

Traditional optimization plugins often process every image automatically, create additional files without clear visibility, mix converted assets with original media, and provide limited control over how next-generation formats are delivered.

The Solution

WebPix uses an on-demand and inventory-driven approach. It identifies the files that actually require optimization, stores next-generation assets in dedicated folders, tracks originals and generated sizes, and provides flexible delivery methods without modifying the original media structure unnecessarily. Its official product positioning specifically emphasizes reduced processing, dedicated asset folders, and advanced delivery controls.

Key Features

  • Media Library Inventory
  • Original and Generated Size Detection
  • On-Demand Image Conversion
  • Bulk Optimization
  • WebP and Next-Generation Formats
  • Dedicated Optimized Asset Folders

Questions & Answers

Whether you're a recruiter, hiring manager, CTO, or potential client, here you'll find answers to the questions I'm most frequently asked about my experience, technical expertise, projects, and working style.

Experience & Career

Did you really develop the projects featured in this portfolio?

Yes. Every project featured in this portfolio represents work that I personally contributed to, either as the primary developer, technical lead, product manager, or creative director, depending on the nature and scope of each project.

Across nearly three decades, I have worked hands-on in software development, enterprise systems, infrastructure, digital publishing, and product development — some projects delivered independently, others by leading teams and coordinating stakeholders through the full product lifecycle.

This portfolio doesn't attempt to list everything I've built. It highlights selected case studies that best represent my range across industries, technologies, and responsibilities — each one reflecting real client work, real business challenges, and real solutions.

What roles have you taken throughout your career?

At the core, I am a hands-on developer — most of my career has been spent writing code, architecting systems, and solving technical problems directly.

As projects grew in scale and complexity, that core naturally expanded into additional responsibilities: Technical Lead, Infrastructure Manager, ERP Consultant, Product Designer, and eventually building and leading my own software products under ARN Smart.

What ties these roles together is the same skill applied at different levels: connecting business goals with technology. I move comfortably between writing code and shaping product strategy, but development has always stayed my foundation, not something I moved away from.

How can your professional experience be independently verified?

I believe professional experience should be supported by evidence, not simply listed on a résumé.

Most of the organizations, products, and case studies presented in this portfolio can be independently verified through public websites, live software, published work, and my LinkedIn profile. Where confidentiality allows, each case study explains my specific role, responsibilities, and the business problem it solved.

I'm also happy to discuss individual projects in greater detail during an interview, including architectural decisions, technical trade-offs, and the reasoning behind the solutions I built.

Technical Expertise

Are you only a WordPress developer?

No. WordPress is one of the platforms I work with—it isn't how I'd define my profession.

Throughout my career, I have built ERP systems, enterprise business applications, media publishing platforms, e-commerce solutions, AI-powered products, and custom software from the ground up. I use WordPress when it offers the best balance of business value, flexibility, and long-term maintainability for a specific project—not by default.

My focus has always been solving business problems through software, choosing the platform that best fits the problem—not the other way around.

Can you design and build enterprise software from scratch?

Yes. Building software from the ground up has been a significant part of my career.

I have designed and developed ERP systems, business management platforms, digital publishing solutions, SaaS products, customer support systems, and commercial WordPress products. My involvement typically starts with understanding business requirements and continues through architecture, development, testing, deployment, and long-term product evolution.

I build for the next several years, not just for launch—systems that stay scalable, maintainable, and valuable as the business grows.

Can you design and build enterprise software from scratch?

Yes. Designing complete software solutions from concept to production has been a significant part of my career.

My experience includes gathering business requirements, designing software architecture, creating database structures, developing business logic, implementing user interfaces, deploying production environments, and providing long-term maintenance. I have applied this approach across ERP systems, manufacturing solutions, media platforms, educational institutions, corporate websites, and commercial software products.

I believe successful enterprise software is not defined by its size, but by how well it solves real business problems while remaining scalable, maintainable, and reliable over time.

Do you have experience with servers, infrastructure, and DevOps?

Yes, though software and product development remain my primary focus.

Over the years, I have managed hosting environments, website deployments, email infrastructure, WHM/cPanel administration, domain management, backup strategies, migrations, and production environments supporting client and business projects.

While I don't consider myself a dedicated DevOps engineer, this hands-on infrastructure experience helps me build software that is practical to deploy, maintain, and scale in real-world environments—not just in theory.

How do you choose the right technology for a project?

The business problem comes first; the technology decision comes second.

Every project has different priorities—some need rapid development, others prioritize scalability, long-term maintenance, or integration with existing systems. My role is to evaluate those requirements and then select the technology that delivers the best long-term value, not the trendiest option.

I also weigh ecosystem maturity, community support, security, and whether another developer could pick up the project years later and keep it running smoothly.

How do you turn business problems into software solutions?

I start by understanding how the business actually works, before any conversation about features or technology.

That means mapping workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and clarifying what users and stakeholders actually need. Once the real problem is clear, I translate it into a solution that is simple to use, built to scale, and aligned with where the business is heading.

To me, success isn't measured in lines of code—it's measured by how effectively the problem is solved.

Projects & Products

What types of projects have you worked on?

My experience spans multiple industries rather than one narrow specialization.

Over the years, I have delivered solutions for manufacturing, media, education, government organizations, e-commerce, publishing, and commercial businesses—ranging from ERP systems and enterprise applications to digital publishing platforms, institutional websites, customer support systems, AI-powered products, and commercial WordPress solutions.

Technologies change from project to project, but the real constant is understanding how each business actually operates and translating that into practical software.

Which project was the most technically challenging?

The most technically demanding projects I've worked on have been enterprise ERP systems and AI-powered products.

ERP projects required a deep understanding of business processes, workflows, and reporting, all while keeping long-term maintainability in mind. AI-driven products brought a different challenge: designing flexible architectures that combine research, automation, and modern language models into tools people can actually use day to day.

What I find most rewarding isn't solving a single hard problem—it's building systems that keep evolving well after the initial release.

Can you adapt to industries you've never worked in before?

Yes—adapting to new industries has been one of the defining patterns of my career.

I have worked across manufacturing, media, education, government, publishing, and digital products, each with its own workflows, terminology, regulations, and expectations.

My approach stays the same regardless of the industry: understand the business first, learn how people actually work, then build software around those real processes. Once the business itself is understood, the industry label becomes far less of a barrier than most people expect.

Why did you create ARN Smart products, and how are they evolving today?

ARN Smart started as an attempt to turn years of project experience into reusable software, instead of solving the same problem from scratch for every new client.

After delivering custom solutions across many different industries, I kept noticing the same recurring problems—and realized they deserved reusable products, not another one-off project. That observation became the foundation of ARN Smart.

Today, the ecosystem keeps growing, with products focused on WordPress productivity, AI-powered content intelligence, customer support, media optimization, and digital business tools. Each one is actively maintained and continues to evolve through real-world feedback and ongoing development.

How has your multidisciplinary background shaped the way you build products?

Working across design, software development, infrastructure, branding, and business strategy has fundamentally changed how I approach product development.

I don't see software as isolated code—I see it as one part of a larger system that includes users, business goals, operations, branding, and long-term maintenance.

That broader view is what lets me make balanced decisions: building products that are technically reliable, commercially valuable, and genuinely useful for the people using them.

Working Together

What kind of opportunities are you currently looking for?

I'm looking for roles where hands-on development and product thinking go together, not one instead of the other.

I enjoy building and improving real software, solving complex business problems, and helping teams turn ideas into products that actually ship and last. The roles I find most rewarding let me stay close to the code while also contributing to architecture, product decisions, and long-term direction.

My background spans enterprise software, WordPress, AI, and digital products, so I'm drawn to organizations that value ownership, continuous improvement, and building with a long-term vision — whether that's a senior development role or one with broader product responsibility.

Are you available for remote work or relocation?

Yes. I'm open to remote, hybrid, or relocation, depending on the role and the company.

I've worked with international clients and multicultural teams throughout my career, so collaborating across countries and time zones is something I'm very comfortable with.

For the right opportunity, I'm glad to discuss relocation and long-term international positions in more detail.

Can you work independently as well as within a team?

Yes — my career has required both, often within the same project.

Some work was delivered independently from concept to deployment; other projects meant collaborating closely with designers, developers, managers, and clients through the full lifecycle.

I take ownership when working alone, and I value open communication and knowledge-sharing when working as part of a team. Which mode I lean into depends on what actually helps the project succeed — not personal preference.

What can a company expect from working with you?

Someone who takes ownership of problems, not just the tasks assigned to them.

I care about understanding the business behind a project, asking the right questions early, and building things that stay useful well after the first release — balancing technical quality, user experience, and long-term maintainability.

The goal was never just shipping features. It's contributing to products that people actually enjoy using, and that businesses can confidently build on.
